RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday said that the Pakistan armed forces would not spare anyone found involved in the target killing of individuals fro
m the Hazara community.

n Bajwa met with the notables fro
m the Hazara community and offered condolences t
o the families of the victims.
“There is no consolation t
o the loss of the loved ones. Target killing of members of the Hazara community is a matter of great concern and we will not spare anyone found involved in such acts,” COAS said while speaking on occasion.
Ge
n Bajwa continued that the country’s armed forces have rendered great sacrifices in Pakistan’s war against terrorism, and that due t
o the efforts of the security forces, numerous terrorist groups have been eliminated.
“These terrorists operating in Pakistan are working for foreign forces. We are Muslims first, and then anything else and we should unite and fight against the enemy to ensure peace and stability in the country,” COAS added.
The Hazara representatives expressed full trust in the COAS and also guaranteed cooperation. They also announced to end a 3-day sit-in, which was launched to protest against the killing of individuals fro
m the community.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and southern commander also accompanied the army chief
during the talks.
