KARACHI: Two persons were shot and injured by robbers on resistance in different robbery incidents in the metropolis in the wee hours Friday.
According to rescu
e sources, armed robbers riding a motorbike intercepted a 47-yea
r-old man, Waheed son of Ghulam Ahmed, in Nazimabad No-2, but he offered them resistance on
which the robbers opened fire on him. As a result, he sustained severe bullet inj
uries.
He was ru
shed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
Separately, two robbers tried to loot a 37-yea
r-old man, Abdul Malik son of Abdul Haq, in Korangi Mehran Town, but he offered them resistance on
which the robbers shot and injured him.

shed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
