RAWALPINDI: Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing by Indian troops along the Line of Control in Baroh area of Bhimber sector on Wednesday night, injuring one woman, according to the Inter Services Public Relat
ions (ISPR).
A statement issued by ISPR, the attack on Wednesday night targeted the civilian population of the area. The statement further add
ed that the Pakistan army responded effectively.
A few weeks back, a man had died
as a result of unprovoked firing by Indian security forces along LoC, ISPR had said.
The 25-year-old labourer, Ashfaq, was injured
as a result of Indian firing in Khuiratta sector. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
